As much as some globe-conquering fast food companies would have you believe - in a series of admittedly clever adverts about flat whites - speciality coffee isn’t just for hipsters. You don’t need a twirly moustache and a fixie bike, you don’t have to drink it out of a jam jar in a converted shed in Hackney. Yeah, you don’t have to be a hipster… but you can be. And that’s why we brought our first Pact Coffee for Business pop-up to Shoreditch (we're kidding... sort of).
Scrap the swings, slides and segways - it’s more than bells and whistles (or sales gongs) that make a great office environment. But while the budget doesn’t have room for a sauna-styled meeting room or mechanical bull, it is pretty important to have an office people like working in. You want a team that cheerfully trots in on Monday, not one who treats their commute like walking the plank - after all, happy teams are productive teams.
Our coffee isn’t a commodity and neither is your team. We know that you know that, but it’s important to make sure that’s clear to everyone. While poor quality coffee and broken-down machines tell your staff that you’re not bothered about whether they’re enjoying the daily grind (in more ways than one), Pact’s service lets them know you really care - and with something as simple as a cup of speciality coffee. Teams that feel valued, feel happy. And happy teams are what you should be aiming for.
